Founded in 1989, Kidokime-ryu Karate-do was founded by Soke Bobby Briggs and officially recognized as a style by the World Martial Arts Group on March 20, 1989. Since its inception, Kidokime-ryu Karate-do has been taught all over the world and has been recognized as an International Martial Arts Hall of Fame style.

At Kidokime-ryu Karate-do, karate is more than just a physical activity, it is a way of life. Kidokime-ryu Karate-do seeks to cultivate, inculcate, remake and strengthen the ENTIRE person through the mind, body, and spirit. The Kidokime-ryu Karate-do code is:
